Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting HOU and HOD to plan, develop and implement Khazanah’s overall social media and website content strategy to enhance Khazanah’s digital communications and brand perception. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s official social media platforms as well as curating social media campaigns and content review/updates on corporate website as and when necessary.
 

Job Description

  • Expand the organisation’s online presence via social media by growing the current reach on existing platforms, improve engagement and to further develop Khazanah digital brand communications. 
  • Manage content creation for all social media platforms which include but not inclusive of:
    • Content ideation and strategy – engage with respective teams for content gathering
    • Strategic writing and copywriting 
    • Collaborate with creative designer for development of required creatives for socials
    • Ensure brand consistency with Khazanah corporate identity guidelines 
  • Content planning, scheduling, and publishing: manage website and social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with the overall Khazanah strategic imperatives and initiatives. 
  • Social media reporting: analyse and prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and campaign reports for management on company initiatives/efforts. Utilise social media analytical tools such as Facebook insights and Twitter analytics to provide summary and recommendations.
  • Develop and manage social media targeted brand campaigns in alignment with Khazanah’s purpose: 
    • Brief and collaborate with agencies to plan and execute social media advertisements
    • Manage social media collaborators as required by respective campaign
    • Setting KPIs for campaigns and propose social communications strategy during campaign to reach optimal results
    • Budget planning and management
  • Support internal efforts in identifying best social media practices and strategies while staying up to date on emerging trends
  • Social media monitoring and listening: Monitor online chatter on the organisation using listening tools as part of reputation management. To alert and update Strategic Comms and media team and recommend plans to manage online sentiments as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing or communications
  • Various experience across MNCs, GLCs, media, or advertising agencies
  • Excellent in English and Bahasa Malaysia copywriting, social media strategy, content planning  and design. 

 

Skill and Knowledge:

  • An excellent communicator, writer, and a team player. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive analytics and reports in enhancing Khazanah’s social media practices over time. 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering multiple projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Dynamic and creative, to translate ideas into digital stories across social media platforms to enhance followers’ and readers’ understanding, attention and engagement in a fun and interactive way
     

Education/Certifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/ Marketing /Journalism/Public Relations or relevant areas.
